胎面花纹的厚度一定要大于1.6毫米，如果你经常驾车行驶在摩擦力低的湿滑路面上，最好能保证胎面花纹厚度是上述数值的两倍。你可以学习专业人士，购买一个 计量器来测量胎面花纹的厚度；然而老驾驶员常使用一种广为流传的办法来大致估计胎面花纹厚度，那就是拿出一枚一元硬币，顺着国徽顶端方向插入胎面沟壑中， 因为硬币边缘到国徽顶端的距离在1到2毫米之间，所以如果这时还可以看到整个国徽标志，说明胎面花纹厚度已经不足。<br>

<div align="left"><font color="#3e3e3e"> 新款轮胎比过去的老式产品多了一项人性化设计：胎面花纹磨损指示线。当轮胎非常新或磨损程度很低的情况下，这些指示线几乎不会被发觉，但当磨损到达一定程度，这些隐藏在胎面沟壑中的指示线就呈现出来。胎面花纹磨损指示线为扁平的橡胶条，与胎面纵向垂直镶嵌在胎面沟壑中。当你检查轮胎可以偶尔发现一到两条指示线 的时候，说明胎面花纹厚度已经减少了很多，这种情况下行驶在湿滑路面上就要格外小心了。如果轮胎上的几乎所有指示线都清晰可见，意味着你需要尽快更换轮胎了。</font></div><br>

<font color="#3e3e3e"> 有些情况下，轮胎的外表面会因为强度不够，导致高出正常轮胎表面的凸起和起泡。这就如同血管中出现的动脉瘤，轮胎也面临类似的状况，如果你没能及时把车辆送 往维修厂检测轮胎故障，胎面上强度不足的区域极有可能引发突然的爆裂，高速行车下的轮胎爆裂甚至会导致驾乘人员出现严重的伤病。</font><br>
