2012年5月18日，重庆市<font color="#0000ff">綦江</font>南州中学晋升市重点中学挂牌仪式隆重举行。第三军医大学副校长、博士生导师，渝北区某银行行长，区四大班子领导，教委主任等来宾，和南中六千多师生，共同见证了挂牌仪式和庆祝活动。<br>
