秀山网讯 近日，记者从人民网获悉，全国教书育人楷模评选活动正式启动，我县54岁的教师石元英成为全国教书育人楷模候选人之一。<br>
<br>
据悉，在第二十六个教师节到来之际，教育部联合人民日报、新华社、光明日报、中国教育报、中国教育电视台、人民网、新华网、光明网、中国教育新闻网、国视在线网，组织开展全国教书育人楷模评选活动。<br>
<br>
此次活动的评选范围是改革开放以来，曾获得过省部级（含）以上劳动模范、全国模范教师、全国优秀教师等荣誉称号，并在教育教学工作中作出突出贡献的各级各类学校教师，原则上以在职教师为主。<br>
<br>
教师节期间，将对10名“全国教书育人楷模”和22位提名奖获奖者进行表彰奖励。<br>
<br>
石元英老师，女，苗族，54岁，重庆市秀山土家族苗族自治县保安乡中心校高级教师，现任教于湖南省保靖县清水坪镇坝木小学。从教30年，有18年在渝湘交界地区跨省任教。为了孩子们的安全，10多年间，坚持每天背负幼小的孩子或残疾孩子趟过门前的“四川河”求学，自身落下严重病痛。克服家庭经济困难，长期向贫困学生提供资助。工作责任心强，经常利用休息时间给学生补课，教育教学质量高。曾获“振兴重庆争光贡献奖”，被评为“重庆直辖10年建设功臣”。<br>

附：评选流程<br>
<br>
1、确定候选人，活动组委会对各地推荐的候选人进行认真审核，确定96名全国教书育人楷模候选人<br>
<br>
2、 公示投票，公示日期从8月8日至8月28日。报纸投票日期从8月8日至8<br>
月21日（以邮寄日邮戳为准）；网络投票时间从8月8日至8月28日。公众可选择填写报纸选票、网上投票两种方式之一进行投票。组委会最后将从所有投票者中抽出幸运者并赠送纪念品。<br>
<br>
3、是评定结果，评选委员会根据投票结果和实际情况，从96位候选人中评选出32位提名人选，再从中评出10名“全国教书育人楷模”，其余22位获提名奖。</td></tr></tbody></table>
