<font size="3">秀山县结核病防治所建于1984年，30多年来，机构已经变改。2013年7月，县编委《关于撤销县传染病医院的批复》，将县传染病医院实有在编在职人员全部划入县结核病防治所。2014年12月，县编委《关于调整县卫生委下属事业机构的批复》，设立县公共卫生救治中心，同时挂县结核病防治所和县精神卫生中心牌子。</font><font size="3"><br>
</font><br>
<font size="3">县公共卫生救治中心总建筑面积有16890平方米，其中住院综合楼13200平方米。项目总投资3960万元，其中，中央投资到位1000万元，县级配套2960万元。规划床位300张，现实际开房230张。已于2016年8月28日搬迁至新址（中和街道新齐村，原传染病医院）执业、办公。并于2016年12月2日全面接管精神科住院病人。</font><font size="3"><br>
</font><br>
<font size="3">县公共卫生救治中心</font><font size="3">现住院病院共194名，其中含原先的住院病人28名病员，和12月2日接入的166名病员。</font><br>
