</font></font><font face="宋体"><font style="font-size:16pt">昨天，秀山县委统战部副部长杨正银介绍称，今年9月初的一天，他突然接到一个越洋电话，称希望能帮忙找一位姓李的在秀山师范学校教书的老师。对方在电话中没有说要找的人的名字，只说她是她的侄女，老家在龙池镇。放下电话后，杨正银立即与县职教中心取得联系，果然找到了那名姓李的老师。</font></font><br>

</font></font><font face="宋体"><font style="font-size:16pt">原来，这个电话是定居在美国的华侨李宗逸女士打来的，她是华盛顿大学医学中心的研究员。她的爷爷李稷勋祖籍秀山龙池镇，打算与老家的亲人取得联系后回乡寻根问祖。</font></font><br>

</font></font><font face="宋体"><font style="font-size:16pt">杨正银副部长介绍说，9月5日中午1时左右，64岁高龄的李宗逸女士，带着在美国华盛顿大学物理系任教授的丈夫赵天池及儿子赵宇等人，专程从美国抵达秀山火车站。</font></font><br>

</font></font><font face="宋体"><font style="font-size:16pt">随后，李宗逸女士一行立即驱车来到龙池镇龙冠村，见到了爷爷的20多名后辈。据李宗逸介绍，爷爷育有3子5女，她父亲李欧系第3子。她说，出生于北京的父亲，自幼勤奋好学，后来考上了清华大学，毕业后留校任教，成为清华大学应用数学系的知名教授。她还介绍称，自己在北京出生后，60多年来一直未回过秀山老家，她和家人在1981年定居美国西雅图。</font></font><br>

</font></font><font face="宋体"><font style="font-size:16pt">见客人远道而来，20多名家乡亲朋当天杀鸡杀鸭，还用当地的糯米、顶罐饭和时鲜蔬菜来热情地款待他们。在秀山的10多天时间里，李宗逸全家受到热烈欢迎。</font></font><br>

</font></font><font face="宋体"><font style="font-size:16pt">这次回秀山，李宗逸还将当年爷爷留下的一批珍贵文物无偿捐赠给了秀山县政协文史委。这些文物有光绪皇帝珠笔亲批的殿试“皇榜”，还有爷爷的“弥封官关防”、“川汉铁路宜昌总经理李稷勋秩事”以及“李稷勋《甓Q诗录》”等珍贵历史文物。</font></font><br>

</font></font><font face="宋体"><font style="font-size:16pt">李宗逸介绍说，当年他们到美国定居时，将这些文物一并带了去。父亲临终前，还特别嘱咐她要把这些文物捐赠给秀山县有关方面。她说，这次专程从美国带到北京，再辗转带到秀山，希望能对研究爷爷有用。</font></font><br>

</font></font><font face="宋体"><font style="font-size:16pt">李宗逸回忆称，爷爷李稷勋生于1860年，清光绪十四年（公元1888年）乡试考试，考中戊子科举人；光绪十六年，任秀山凤鸣书院院长，于当年冬月开始撰写《秀山县志》。光绪二十四年（公元1898年）他赴京会试，成绩优良参加殿试，清光绪帝临场监考，38岁的李稷勋不负众望，考中进士，曾回秀山办过矿务局。</font></font><br>
<font face="宋体"><font style="font-size:16pt"><br>
1909</font></font><font face="宋体"><font style="font-size:16pt">年派住湖北宜昌主持修建川汉铁路。后来，他与詹天佑以及数百万人一道，最终将此路修成。1919年，李稷勋病逝后，安葬于宜昌。 </font></font><br>

</font></font><font face="宋体"><font style="font-size:16pt">据《秀山县志》载：参加殿试的李稷勋有一段传奇故事。说是李稷勋与清末革新派的六君子中的谭嗣同为好友，因涉变法嫌疑，曾受慈禧太后召见，慈禧问及：“康梁要变法，你以为如何？”李稷勋巧妙答道：“先王之法、未尝不善，有法治，还须有人治……”。在场的同僚为之捏把汗，为李稷勋躲过一劫而暗喜。</font></font><br>
